Using these websites you can create or upload your resume, search for job openings near you, and can even apply to many jobs online directly from your profile.

ZipRecruiter: An online employing marketplace, powered by AI technology that makes job seeking simple. Get started on your job search by visiting their user-friendly website, or downloading the ZipRecruiter App onto your smartphone. You can search for local jobs on their site, as well as find job resources for veterans.

LinkedIn: A social networking website specifically to display your professional profile and connect you with employers and peers from the same field. Potential employers can view your profile and reach out to you with job opportunities or you can view their profile and reach out to them with job inquiries.  

Indeed: A job search website that allows you to create an account with your cover letter, resume, and reference letters. Indeed will send you job listings that they believe match your resume, and will also send your resume to employers that have job listing on the website.

Learning Express is a free service provided for Patrick Heath Public Library card holders. Learning Express offers Career Center Plus, which offers sample and practice tests for a wide variety of occupational exams, including the AVSAB and TOEIC. Learning Express also helps with computer skills. You can access this database through our library catalog.
