State Resources

The Budget and Policy Division aids the Governor in formulating and implementing state policy by coordinating with state agencies, the Legislature, and various constituents and stakeholder groups. Throughout the legislative session, the division analyzes each piece of legislation and makes recommendations to the Governor.

Texas Constitution and Statutes is a searchable database for the Texas Constitution and Texas statutes and codes. 

 

The Handbook of Texas was created by the Texas State Historical Association. This handbook strives to promote a comprehensive history of Texas and includes multiple secondary handbooks.

​Municode is the nation’s leading publisher of local government codes of ordinances. The Municode library can be used to search for municipal codes for most cities in Texas.
